Long ago, a group of mysterious and immortal gods began a competition to shape the magical, adventurous world of Alethrion. They created vibrant landscapes, fantastic cities, and countless magical creatures. But driven by envy and frustration - especially over their failed attempts to outdo the one god who had introduced humans into the world - the other gods responded by forging magical weapons, triggering natural disasters, and unleashing colossal beasts that tore through the lands they had made.

Realizing the chaos they had unleashed, the gods abandoned the world, retreating from the mess and horror they had caused - leaving humanity to face the consequences alone.

The universe of Alethrion is rich with magical, strange, thrilling, and humorous characters - each with unique traits and powers inspired by Dungeons & Dragons. Their motivations frequently take the form of personal quests.

The world itself is diverse in every way: high-tech metropolises stand alongside medieval villages and enchanted wilderness. The setting draws inspiration from different regions of the real world, various time periods, and mythology.
