OUR APPROACH

Our process began with receiving the live-action footage from BaconX, which served as the foundation for the project.

We then moved into creature design, developing unique concepts tailored to the narrative and visual tone. These designs were refined through storyboarding and subsequently brought to life through animation.

Throughout the production, we engaged in several rounds of feedback and collaboration with both the agencies and Raf Simons, ensuring that creative direction aligned with their vision.

Once animation was approved, we proceeded to the final phase, where we integrated, tracked, and composited the creatures seamlessly into the footage - bringing the film to completion with polished, cohesive visual storytelling.

THE OUTCOME

The film demonstrates how we can blend animation with live-action footage, creating a distinctive visual style that complements the hand-drawn, pencil aesthetic adding a rawness and rebellious energy.
